THE DROP LA

Barneys New York, in collaboration with Highsnobiety, hosted “The Drop” at its Beverly Hill’s flagship location. The two-day event featured 20 plus capsule collection products, fashion and entertainment celebrities, food, workshops, and installations created by some of the featured designers. In-store experiences included a roller rink, Fila pizza shop, Prada pachinko machines, live tattooing and piercing, raffles for charitable causes, and much more. Musical performances included multiple DJ sets along with surprise guests, Wu-Tung Clan.

The Drop LA was the follow up event to The Drop that was hosted in NYC the year prior. This event was our first store take over and challenged us to connect between the artists and designers as well as various vendors to ensure we would offer the highest quality of work while meeting deadlines, budgets, and various standards including permitting and zoning. We masked the entire building façade with signage as a marketing tool to align with the car traffic common to that area and served as a tool to get creative buzz for the event inside.
